Optimism is critical to productive and engaging leadership. How long would you last working for someone who was always pessimistic?
That is why Victor decided to publish his findings in a book “The Case for Optimism”
Let’s reflect on recent famous speeches that created major social and mind shifts. Martin Luther King Jr “I have a dream”, Robert Kennedy “We will put a man on the moon by the end of this decade (1960′s), or Steve Jobs vision of a “computer for the rest of us”.
These leaders didn’t know how these visions were going to be fulfilled but they built their credibility through their confidence and optimism.
Victor has a vision that Australians will start identifying with the fact that we are highly regarded around the world as great leaders. This vision has led him to interview highly regarded people in key government and business roles. He has published his findings under the title of “The Australian Leadership Project”.
Victor is generously offering a free copy of his research to all who are attending the breakfast on March 23rd at the Melbourne Crown Palladium.
